Jonathon Packard
Senior Advisor

Jonathon Packard has over sixteen years of financial services experience at both entrepreneurial and established companies. Jonathon currently serves as the Managing Partner of Monarch Capital Advisors LLC, a boutique merchant bank involved in transaction advisory and direct equity investments for private transactions.

Prior to joining Monarch Capital Advisors, Jonathon was a Principal at Atlantic-Pacific Capital in the Direct Investments Group – the firm's merchant banking unit – focusing on middle market private transactions. There, Jonathon spent his time sourcing, processing and selling transactions in the United States and internationally in a variety of industries, including real estate, financial services and automotive.

From 2003 to 2005, Jonathon was a co-founder, Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager at WR Capital Management, an asset management firm investing in hedge funds. Prior to WR Capital Management, Jonathon was a research analyst at Falco Capital, a long-short equity and credit hedge fund. Jonathon began his career in the Investment Banking division of CIBC Oppenheimer, working on U.S. and international corporate finance transactions.

Jonathon earned a bachelor's degree in American History from Harvard College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Dr. Zhang Jingchun
Senior Advisor

Dr. Zhang is an accomplished Chinese health care practitioner, educator and researcher who advises JFP Holdings in the health care field. The Chinese government has identified health care and education as the two principal areas for investment focus in 2010.

Since 1989, Dr. Zhang has worked in the Centre of Cardiovascular Diseases in Xiyuan Hospital, one of the country's largest hospitals under the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. Dr. Zhang is the Chief Physician and Supervisor of Postgraduate Students, specializing in the application of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the integration of TCM and Western medicine to treat heart disease.

Dr. Zhang received a bachelor's degree in Chinese Medicine from the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese in 1989, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2007, where she majored in the clinical application of integrative Chinese and Western medicines. Presently, Dr. Zhang is a Post-Doctoral Fellow, funded by a national research grant, and her responsibility is to inherit the diagnostic and treatment experience of Dr. Chen Keji, the most renowned expert in the field of TCM, as designated by the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Zhang was awarded the second prize for Science and Technology by the Chinese Association for Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2009, and the second prize for "The Inheritance and Innovation of the TCM of Zhongjianhang" by the CACMS in 2008. Her book, "Memoir of Chen Keji's Academic Ideas and Medical Cases," is one of the State's major texts as part of China's Eleventh Five-year Plan. Dr. Zhang was awarded a Sliver Medal by CACMS in 2005, and the title of Progressive Professional by Beijing's Health and Medical Department in 2000. Dr. Zhang is a well-known expert in her field in China and has published numerous professional papers and books.
